Fullscript’s purpose — helping people get better — is core to everything we do. We’ve created a virtual dispensing solution that supports practitioners as they support millions of patients across North America with the industry’s best supplements. That said, our purpose extends well beyond our platform. Helping people get better is at the core of our business decisions and how we treat our #fullscriptfam.

By joining us, you stand with our purpose. You are an independent thinker, who likes to leave things better than you found them. You do things not because they are easy but because they are right. Ready to make an impact?

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to work in our Operations team to help evolve the Fullscript back-office workflows and help us scale our systems as we continue to grow. Our Systems team primarily writes software in Go, and works on the mission critical infrastructure to support our growing business.

Our engineering team cares about doing things well, and about the developer experience on the team. We host in-house training on all sorts of topics, from React all the way through to Kubernetes. Fullscript is a place where you’ll be encouraged to learn, mentor, and grow!

What you’ll do:

  • As a part of the operations team, you will work closely with our operations, finance, and engineering teams to improve, scale, and maintain many of the workflows that are central to Fullscript’s success.
  • Assist in the development and architecture of integrations between NetSuite and other core applications.
  • Develop our integration systems to support new functionality within Fullscript.

What you bring to the table:

  • Experience and interest working with commerce and business operations systems that might include e-commerce checkouts, Order Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP), or Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience writing, deploying and debugging RESTful API.  We use JavaScript but are open to candidates from all technical backgrounds.
  • Experience writing and deploying data integration pipelines.  We use Go but are open to candidates from all technical backgrounds.
  • Experience with data modeling and writing SQL.
  • A keen sense of how unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing can be automated, what kinds of tests are too difficult to automate, and how to work with business users to design user acceptance testing.
  • Experience analyzing, designing, and developing customizations to satisfy ERP system gaps.
  • Experience working with Accounting and Logistics users to specify and test business requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills; the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements is a must!

Our team handles a lot of sensitive health information, which means candidates that receive and accept employment offers must undergo a background check.

What we can offer you:

  • Generous PTO and competitive pay
  • Fullscript’s RRSP match program for financial health
  • Flexible benefits package and workplace wellness program
  • Training budget and company-wide learning initiatives
  • Discount on Fullscript catalog of products
  • Ability to work Wherever You Work Well*

*Our Wherever You Work Well philosophy means Fullscript teammates get to pick their own office — whether that’s in-office, at home, or a bit of both. We also believe pups make life better, which also means some of our physical locations are dog-friendly. 🐶

Fullscript is committed to diversity in its workforce and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are excited to work with talented people, period. All employment decisions are based on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications, without regard to race, color, religion or belief, national or ethnic origin, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital or civil status, political affiliation, family or parental status, or any other status protected by the laws or regulations in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
